Challenge: just 1 minute

 Challenge

challenge,   challenge, challenge, challenge, challenge, challenge, challenge,

challenge, challenge, challenge, challenge, challenge, challenge, challenge, challenge, challenge...

Sometimes you just pray like one time in a day, sometimes you know that pray only one time is not enough, but you don't know what to do to make more time for prayer. Ok, I struggle a lot with this situation. But! I was reading Oswald Chambers book and I got motivated to make a challenge: take a minute from an hour! Yes! only 1 minute! Pray in 1 minute... you see... if you take one minute from an hour, means that from 12 hours , you've been connected with the Lord 12 times. Being connected with the Lord most of the day it is wonderful!

It's really challenging ... 'cause most of the times we forget about it and we always say "I'm too busy... blah blah" , but think that all you're doing here, right now, is ephemeral... but your relationship with the Lord is forever and more.

I'm gonna try today, I'll let you know how was

Watch what you say...

Dear, you... lately I have seen that you have a big problem with "what you say" to others and about them. Is very hard too see you living the consequences of your words. Of course,  I am not here trying to judge you. Because I love you  and I want you to live at peace with others. Every time you have the chance to keep quiet and think about what you're gonna say, you come with loud words. Sometimes you hurt others with your harsh words, they don't tell you about it... but I know their hearts. I'm not saying you're a mean person, but maybe you haven't realized how severe you can be with others and yourself! Sometimes is not what you say but how say it.

Try just for this day to think about what you're gonna say about others, about you. Think about how you're gonna answer to others. Just try for this day, don't even think about tomorrow. Just watch what you say.

Do the best you can to live in peace with everyone.- Romans 12:18

PS: This is what the Lord told me last night. I'm gonna try today!

Hope for the whole family

Hey, guys! :) I wanna share this story with you. I'm praying
that God can touch your heart through these words.

Hope for the Whole Family

Sachi watched her husband become more and more dependent on alcohol to get through each day. She and Javesh had small children to feed, but whatever money he made, he used on his addiction. The situation grew worse, and their food was beginning to run out.
The only glimmer of hope in Sachi’s and Javesh’s lives was that their son Chakor was enrolled in a Gospel for Asia Bridge of Hope center. They knew he was being cared for and given a nutritious meal every day.
While Chakor received the opportunity to learn and grow, things were looking grim for the rest of the family.
One day, during a regular visit to the family’s home, the staff members from the Bridge of Hope center realized how dire Chakor’s family situation truly was. After meeting with the family, they decided to offer Sachi a job as a cook at the center. She was overjoyed at the prospect.
The new job meant income, and an income meant their family wouldn’t have to starve. Sachi was very happy to be able to meet all her children’s needs again.

God Answered Their Prayers
The Bridge of Hope staff continued visiting with and praying for the family, and slowly, Javesh’s life started to change. He stopped drinking alcohol, and he began to use his wages to provide for his family again.

Through the prayers and friendship of the Bridge of Hope staff, Sachi and Javesh saw the love of Jesus and knew that He cared very much for them. The couple and their children embraced the hope that can only be found in Christ.
Today the family attends the local fellowship together, and their home is full of God’s peace. Not only has their outward situation changed drastically, but their inner lives were transformed as well.

So, what do you think about this story?  I don't know what is to face a problem like that, I don't know what is a broken home for alcohol or drugs. I don't know about that because I haven't lived that situation. Even though, when I was younger I knew about 3 persons who suffered domestic violence because their dads had problems with alcohol. It is very hard to accept that you can't do anything to help them and their families. But it is encouraging to trust in the one who can fix a broken home, a broken life and a broken heart... Jesus Christ.

If you want to help in some way to Bridge of Hope, you can pray! Prayer is an extraordinary thing. If you wanna pray for all those hopeless children, I leave you here a link: http://www.gfa.org/pray/gfa-bridge-of-hope-center/

30/7?

So don’t worry about tomorrow. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Tomorrow will have its own worries. -Matthew 6:34

When we're very busy we want a day with 30 hours! I know that feeling. But hey! Today is a new day, and getting worried won't make this day longer but stressful. Whatever you have to do today just enjoy it (even if it's something you think you won't) . Do not think about tomorrow. Today is the day God gave you. Tomorrow will bring worries as today. But for real, if you live one day at time, the future won't drown you. Rejoice in whatever comes today. If you feel overwhelmed don't doubt and run to God's presence :)! Let him take control of your day.

Just listen to this song and enjoy your day!

¿Abandonado?

  • 14 Sin embargo, Jerusalén[a] dice: «El Señor me ha abandonado;
    el Señor me ha olvidado».

(Romanos 8:35-39)

Testimony from the past weeks

Hi! I wanna share my testimony about God's work and power. When I started to write the post "He said"  I was feeling kind of anxious because it was going to be a hard day full of desicions. When I wrote that post, God reminded me about his power and love. I decided to trust Him and let Him drive.

So, guess what? The Lord answered our prayers (not only mine but people who's supporting me). It looks like my health is getting restored, but I have to keep in control. To know that everything seems to going well with my health and that God is showing me his faithfulness, makes that every heartbreak can be worth it. Also, I passed the test. It was not the grade I wanted but I know that God heard my prayers and when I thought that I couldn't make it the Lord gave me hope.

I can't deny that I feel physically, emotionally and spiritually drained! BUT seriously, what God taught me through these months is something I won't forget.

If hard times comes, you don't need to be strong, but strong in God's power. You don't need to hide but to run to God's arms. It's ok if you wanna cry,  it's ok if you feel discouraged for a moment. All this is natural. But don't stay on this phase. If you wanna cry do it in the presence of God, if you feel discouraged be honest and tell God. After that, let God work with power, love and faithfulness in your life, and don't forget to trust and rest in him.

So, my dear reader... I don't know you are, where you come from... but I'm sure that you have a testimony. If you wanna share it, please leave a comment :)! I'll love to hear about God's work in your life.

La batalla de este día

-¡Señor, estamos listos!
-¡Muy bien! ¡Preparen su armadura!
-¡Listos!
