What, then, shall we say in response to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? Romans 8:31

Our Open Doors colleague, Ron Boyd-MacMillan, shares the following insight from his teaching, “Why I Need to Encounter the Persecuted Church.”The persecuted church teaches us that everyone is either an agent of God’s will, or an instrument of God’s will. Everyone in this world has only two choices: they can choose to do God’s will by co-operating with God, or they can choose to defy God and do his will unknowingly.“Remember, our God is so great even the persecutors serve him,” said a Chinese pastor wryly. He was referring to arch-persecutor of the Chinese church, Mao Tse Tung, who launched the fiercest anti-Christian campaign of the 20th century in the 1960’s. Called the “Cultural Revolution,” he swept away all churches, burned all Bibles, and imprisoned all the pastors.Yet all he succeeded in doing was pushing the church deep underground, where it became embedded in the family structure and Chinese culture in a way 300 years of evangelism had failed to accomplish. From this fire emerged the world’s largest revival – where the church grew from 1 million in 1950 to over 80 million today.“We say,” smiled the pastor, “that thanks to Mao – who thought he was annihilating the church – we have the greatest revival. He thought he was killing the church, but all the while he was doing pre-evangelism. God had the last laugh. Glory be to God – He always gets his will done.”This truth is also showing up in India. Since 1997 violence against Christians has increased greatly as a result of the election of Hindu extremists. Yet the effect of the extremism has been to drive thousands of low caste Hindus into the church. 

The more Hindu extremists persecute Christians, the more moderate Hindus are drawn into the church.It is a glorious truth the persecuted awaken us to. Everyone ends up furthering the will of God! Even those who put obstacles in the way of the church serve God, because God just turns the obstacle into an instrument. This means that we must not despair when we think conditions for the flourishing of our Christian lives or our churches are less than perfect. Take your worst enemy or the one feature of your life, society or church that causes you most despair, then put your mind into gear and think – how would God work his will through this obstacle?Are you childless? Maybe God is using that to give you a greater ministry, impossible with the responsibility of family? Are you powerless? Maybe God wants to show his glory and make you marvel? We may not get an answer, but it is a thrill to try, because we know everyone is either a willing agent or an unwitting instrument of the will of God.He’s too great, and he loves the world too much, for it to be any other way! God takes the obstacle, and makes it the instrument!

RESPONSE: Today I will be an agent to accomplish God’s will realizing He can make me an instrument.

PRAYER: Lord, make me an instrument of Your will and work as I choose to cooperate with You.

Confession #1

The most difficult thing to do in these past days has been: do not complain. I'm a person that when it's optimistic is a really good one. But when I'm complaining... I'm kind of a monster... I get really grumpy. So, when I read this  "Always be full of joy in the Lord. I say it again—rejoice! Let everyone see that you are considerate in all you do. Remember, the Lord is coming soon. Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:4-7 NLT)" , it kinds make me feel bad and uncomfortable with who I am. I should put my effort and live my life as God wants: not complaining, not gettin grumpy when things don't get right, because this only demonstrate that I don't trust him enough to let Him do whatever he wants to do and also... demonstrate a lack of humbleness...

Ya hemos hablado en este libro devocional que los tiempos de Dios no son nuestros tiempos y esto afecta en gran medida a ciertas personas.

Hay muchos de ustedes que no tienen mayor problema con sentarse a esperar que Papá Dios conteste a una pregunta u oración. Otros, por el contrario, son tan desesperados que necesitan las respuestas de inmediato y en cuanto las solicitan.

Cuando vamos a la Biblia, encontramos ejemplos que nos muestran que en algunos casos Dios tardaba mucho tiempo en contestar. Uno de estos lo tenemos en Job. Su tiempo de prueba fue tan difícil que se le murieron todos sus hijos, perdió todos sus bienes y terminó con sarna y rascándose con una teja. A pesar de eso, y en medio de su frustración, confiaba en que Dios no lo abandonaría. Aunque, claro, hubo ocasiones en que se quejó por la indeferencia ante la maldad y hasta le reprochó al Señor lo que consideraba su descuido cuando le dijo: «Recuerda, oh Dios, que mi vida es un suspiro; que ya no verán mis ojos la felicidad» (Job 7:7).

Luego, Dios cambió las cosas a su tiempo y le aumentó al doble la prosperidad anterior a Job.

Le extendió la vida a ciento cuarenta años y pudo ver a sus hijos, y a los hijos de sus hijos, hasta la cuarta generación.

El Señor no permite que suframos sin motivo, y aunque ese motivo esté oculto en los propósitos divinos y nunca sepamos el porqué, debemos confiar que Él siempre hace lo bueno.

Staying in the fight

GOD IS AT WORK IN HIS CHURCH

And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling in which God lives by his Spirit. Ephesians 2:22

Daniel, a young “underground” house church believer from Muslim background (MBB) would not attend the open church in his Middle Eastern city because he felt its leaders were cooperating with the government. Everything had to be secretive in the house church meetings with no loud singing. It was risky meeting like this. Daniel shares his story of discovery and what he learned from the experience:

“A few months ago, I was at the church leader’s house. They were old family friends and I was helping their kids to repair their computer. The mother answered the door and men came into the house. They were plainclothes police with papers that showed they were from security and had authority to arrest. They took everyone’s phones, disconnected the internet, and gathered all of the computers while they searched the house for Bibles. They found 300. They didn’t want to touch the Bibles, like they were dirty. They took the husband and wife away in handcuffs.

“The leaders were still imprisoned when the police came to my house about a month and a half later pretending to be postmen. In my whole life, that was the first time I saw my father cry. They searched through my room and took my computer, my books, my prayer notebook, my written plans for our youth group, and my personal Bible. They also took my sister’s laptop and all of our cell phones. At the end of their search, they told my parents that they were going to take me with them. My mother was distressed, but I hugged her and told her I would be back.

“They took me to the central prison. I was there for two weeks. They only beat me the first day, but they still threatened me. For the first week I didn’t answer their questions, but the second week was difficult. I was imagining my mom and dad—I had talked to my dad and knew it was a more difficult time for them than for me. I still wondered what I had done wrong and why I didn’t have the right to praise my Lord.

“After two weeks they let me go after guaranteeing I wouldn’t flee. About a month later they also released our leaders on bail. After that, they told me my case was still open and they could call me in at any time. We were uncertain of our sentence because they wouldn’t hold a trial for around six months. Constant pressure. It was a pleasure to be persecuted for my Lord.”

Asked what he learned from the experience, Daniel replied, “First, God taught me patience. Eventually, even though I was worried about my family, God gave me a chance to witness to my persecutors. I really don’t hate them. I love them because they don’t know what they’re doing. They’ve been taught bad things, they’re not bad themselves. I felt a responsibility to tell them about the light of Jesus that can break through their spiritual darkness…I want western people to know that God is working in the Middle East, through persecution, deception, and difficulties.”

RESPONSE: Today I will be thankful that God can work through my fellowship of believers regardless of the level of freedom we enjoy.

PRAYER: Pray for those in underground house churches who risk everything to meet and fulfill the five functions of the church.

"I am not gonna leave you in suffering" / "No te dejaré en el sufrimiento"

El Señor está cerca de los quebrantados de corazón,

    y salva a los de espíritu abatido.

Salmo 34:18

The Lord is close to those who have suffered disappointment.
    He saves those who are discouraged.

Psalm 34:18

This is what I understand about this passage: "If you're suffering I am with you, if you're discouraged, I'll be your courage. I am not gonna leave you in suffering." 

I'm thinking about how can I apply this verse to my life. To be honest I'm living a process with my health. I haven't habituate to my disease. When I feel weak , I don't understand for what reason I'm living this. Thoughts like "God is not with you" cross my mind, and then I remember about how faithful God have been with me and my family. He's always providing for my medical checks, doctors, diet and every little thing. When I read his words and found promises like this, I know my heavenly Father is with me. I know he won't let me drown in suffering and fear. 

I have to rest on Him and hold on to this promise.

Querida Nohemí: me contaron que lastimosamente perdiste a tus hijos y tu esposo. No puedo imaginar el dolor que sientes. No puedo imaginar cuán cansados tienes tus lagrimales y tu corazón. Es seguro que por cada minuto que el reloj cuenta, sientes desfallecer en el desconsuelo. También, supe que pediste a tus nueras que se marcharan para que ellas pudieran rehacer sus vidas. Sin embargo, hubo una valiente que decidió quedarse contigo y acompañarte hasta el fin de tus días: Rut. Por un momento, pensé que serías abandonada a tu suerte y que nadie se encargaría de ti. Dios te ha mostrado su fidelidad a través de tu nuera.

Este día tú puedes actuar como un gran instrumento de Dios en la vida de una viuda. Este día tú puedes convertirte en alguien como Rut. En India, muchas mujeres viudas han sido abandonadas y parecen no tener esperanzas para sus vidas. Estas viudas se están enfretando a pobreza y hambre extrema. Son abandonadas, tal cual los mismos perritos de la calle. Se necesitan más "Ruts" que puedan ser usados por Dios para mostrar su fidelidad, amor y salvación a estas mujeres. 

Atiende a toda viuda que no tenga a nadie quien la cuide - 1 timoteo 5:3

Challenge: just 1 minute

Sometimes you just pray like one time in a day, sometimes you know that pray only one time is not enough, but you don't know what to do to make more time for prayer. Ok, I struggle a lot with this situation. But! I was reading Oswald Chambers book and I got motivated to make a challenge: take a minute from an hour! Yes! only 1 minute! Pray in 1 minute... you see... if you take one minute from an hour, means that from 12 hours , you've been connected with the Lord 12 times. Being connected with the Lord most of the day it is wonderful!

It's really challenging ... 'cause most of the times we forget about it and we always say "I'm too busy... blah blah" , but think that all you're doing here, right now, is ephemeral... but your relationship with the Lord is forever and more.

I'm gonna try today, I'll let you know how was

Watch what you say...

Dear, you... lately I have seen that you have a big problem with "what you say" to others and about them. Is very hard too see you living the consequences of your words. Of course,  I am not here trying to judge you. Because I love you  and I want you to live at peace with others. Every time you have the chance to keep quiet and think about what you're gonna say, you come with loud words. Sometimes you hurt others with your harsh words, they don't tell you about it... but I know their hearts. I'm not saying you're a mean person, but maybe you haven't realized how severe you can be with others and yourself! Sometimes is not what you say but how say it. 

 Try just for this day to think about what you're gonna say about others, about you. Think about how you're gonna answer to others. Just try for this day, don't even think about tomorrow. Just watch what you say.

Do the best you can to live in peace with everyone.- Romans 12:18

PS: This is what the Lord told me last night. I'm gonna try today!

30/7?

 So don’t worry about tomorrow. Each day has enough trouble of its own. Tomorrow will have its own worries. -Matthew 6:34

When we're very busy we want a day with 30 hours! I know that feeling. But hey! Today is a new day, and getting worried won't make this day longer but stressful. Whatever you have to do today just enjoy it (even if it's something you think you won't) . Do not think about tomorrow. Today is the day God gave you. Tomorrow will bring worries as today. But for real, if you live one day at time, the future won't drown you. Rejoice in whatever comes today. If you feel overwhelmed don't doubt and run to God's presence :)! Let him take control of your day.

En el post de hoy publicaré la reflexión del día de hoy de Nuestro Pan Diario. Esta fue una palabra que -en lo personal- me encantó y me fortaleció. Amo saber que jamás estaremos solos.

LEA: Isaías 49:13-16

Hace años, mientras mi esposo y yo visitábamos el Museo Smithsoniano del Aire y el Espacio, en Washington, Estados Unidos, vimos que había un cochecito de bebé sin nadie cerca. Supusimos que los padres lo habían dejado allí y que estaban acarreando a su hijo en brazos, pero, cuando nos acercamos, había un bebé durmiendo. ¿Dónde estaban los padres… algún hermano… una niñera? Nos quedamos allí un rato antes de llamar a un empleado del museo. ¡Nadie aparecía para reclamar al precioso niño! La última vez que lo vimos, estaban llevándolo en su cochecito a un lugar seguro.

Esa experiencia me hizo pensar en cómo será sentirse abandonado. Es una sensación tremenda que nadie se preocupe por uno; un sentimiento terriblemente doloroso. Pero aunque la gente nos abandone, el amor y la presencia de Dios están asegurados. Él promete que nunca nos dejará (Deuteronomio 31:8), que estará con nosotros dondequiera que vayamos, «todos los días, hasta el fin del mundo» (Mateo 28:20).
El Señor nunca dejará de cumplir lo que les prometió a sus hijos. Aunque los demás nos hayan abandonado, podemos confiar en su promesa de que nada «nos separará del amor de Cristo» (Romanos 8:35-39).

La confianza en la presencia de Dios es nuestro consuelo.

Citas a las que hace referencia: 

13 el Señor ha consolado a su pueblo
y le tendrá compasión en medio de su sufrimiento.

• 14 Sin embargo, Jerusalén[a] dice: «El Señor me ha abandonado;
  el Señor me ha olvidado».

  ¿Puede no sentir amor por el niño al que dio a luz?

  yo no los olvidaría a ustedes.

  •  ³⁵ ¿Acaso hay algo que pueda separarnos del amor de Cristo? ¿Será que él ya no nos ama si tenemos problemas o aflicciones, si somos perseguidos o pasamos hambre o estamos en la miseria o en peligro o bajo amenaza de muerte? ³⁶ (Como dicen las Escrituras: «Por tu causa nos matan cada día; nos tratan como a ovejas en el matadero). ³⁷ Claro que no, a pesar de todas estas cosas, nuestra victoria es absoluta por medio de Cristo, quien nos amó.
    ³⁸ Y estoy convencido de que nada podrá jamás separarnos del amor de Dios. Ni la muerte ni la vida, ni ángeles ni demonios,ni nuestros temores de hoy ni nuestras preocupaciones de mañana. Ni siquiera los poderes del infierno pueden separarnos del amor de Dios. ³⁹ Ningún poder en las alturas ni en las profundidades, de hecho, nada en toda la creación podrá jamás separarnos del amor de Dios, que está revelado en Cristo Jesús nuestro Señor. La batalla de este día

-¡Señor, estamos listos!
-¡Muy bien! ¡Preparen su armadura! 

-¡Listos! 

-Este día batallarán contra un ser más grande que todos ustedes juntos. Esta criatura tiene el poder de meterse en sus mentes, manejarlas y hacerles creer que ustedes son más grande de lo que parecen. Les hace pensar que no necesitarán ni de mí, ni de sus amigos en batalla. Es difícil de vencer y por esta razón les pido que por ningún motivo tiren el casco que protege sus cabezas. 

-Señor, ¿qué es esa criatura?

-Se llama orgullo 

Todos murmuraban y decían tener miedo de enfrentarse a algo que era más fuerte que ellos. Nadie de ellos estaba seguros de poder vencerlo. 

-No teman, la batalla solo será por el día de hoy. Mañana será el día de hoy. Asi lo harán hasta que, por fin, terminen con él. 

-Está bien, está bien ... -decían todos de una forma insegura

-Si de algo deben sentir orgullo, es de lo que he hecho de ustedes: personas fieles, con coraje, perseverancia, sabiduría... y así, puedo nombrarles más cosas. 

Las mujeres se ruborizaban y los hombre sonreían tímidamente al escuchar cuán feliz estaba su amigo y fiel Señor. Todos tomaron fuerza y decidieron, de una vez por todas, luchar contra el orgullo.

"...mándales que no sean orgullosos... " - 1 Timoteo 6:17

"En cambio, ustedes insisten en hablar orgullosamente; y todo orgullo de esa clase es malo." - Santiago 4:16

Resumo esta historia en mi batalla del día de hoy... ¿qué hay de ti?

He said

Today I'll get two results : a grade from test and medical outcomes. Both things are my proof right now. I feel peaceful in some way but in another I'm emotionally drained. All these past days have been hard. Sometimes the anxiety drives me crazy, but I remember the one who's standing before me. These results will be determinants to take some big decisions. These results will be the answers of days of prayers. 

For any reason, is the first time I'm trusting God in a incredible way, knowing he's almighty and powerful, and he knows what's best for me. Even if I don't get what I want (to not be medicate with terrible drugs and not approve the test), I know that he's in control. I've been trying to give all I have, and where I don't have any strenght , I know God is acting.

I don't know what you're going through today, but I know that God is in control of your situation. I believe when he said that he won't give us more than we can't take. I'll share with you one of my favorites bible verses:

So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand. - Isaiah 41:10

 

Luchando contra malos pensamientos

Todos luchamos con diversos tipos de pensamientos pecaminosos. Puede que tus pensamientos sean de miedo, venganza o agresión,  o malos deseos. Tú sabes cuando tus pensamientos son pecaminosos porque tu espíritu los rechaza. Cuando intentas luchar contra esos pensamientos sabes que en un momento determinado, ellos llegan a ser INCONTROLABLES. Te ves atado a ellos y no sabes cómo borrarlos o ignorarlos.

En el post de hoy te compartiré una herramienta que me compartieron. Empezaré a ponerla en práctica y espero que también sea de utilidad en tu vida.

"John Piper escribió en uno de sus libros cómo usar la regla de los 6 segundos.Con segundos de pensamientos la tentación puede entrar en ti, entonces cita 2a Corintios 10:4-5 :

⁴ Las armas que usamos no son las del mundo, sino que son poder de Dios capaz de destruir fortalezas. Y así destruimos las acusaciones ⁵ y toda altanería que pretenda impedir que se conozca a Dios. Todo pensamiento humano lo sometemos a Cristo, para que lo obedezca a él.

 Cuando ese pensamiento sea muy fuerte, di "No" y ora de la siguiente manera:

Señor, derribo todas las fortalezas de mi vida en las que le he dado lugar al enemigo y la carne. Yo derribo fortalezas en el nombre de Jesús. Yo destruyo cada argumento y cada idea que se levanta en contra de tu conocimiento. Amén. "

When it comes, comes

-Yes
-But, still I don't want it
-I am very sorry but someone else paid the price. You can't refuse to take it, this trial is for you.
-I do not understand, I didn't ask for this
-I'm not asking you if you want it or not. Just take it. - the delivery guy walks away

The girl read a card that came with the package:
"Times of trial has come to you. You cannot run from it. It's my gift for your life,but you'll see it as one, later.
PS: I promise that you'll never be forsaken. I'll never leave your side. "Yes, the teaching that I ask you to accept is easy. The load I give you to carry is light (Matthew 11:30)".

Sin máscaras

Aparecen en situaciones de alta tensión, ansiedad y estrés. Aparecen cuando ya no hay control de la mente, ni de nada. ¿De qué hablo? de las palabras ofensivas. En mi caso -seré honesta- este tipo de expresiones son a veces, una constante batalla. ¿Por qué considero como algo negativo las palabras ofensivas? Porque sé que son palabras que no edifican ni a mi espíritu, ni a los que me rodean .

"No entristezcan al Espíritu Santo de Dios con la forma en que viven..."(Efesios 4:30) . Este versículo fue una palabra como para memorizar y pegarla con cola en mi cabeza. Dios en su infito amor ha tratado de llevarme por un camino de "auto-control". Me hizo ver que tenía un serio problema con mis formas de expresión. Me hizo ver que el problema de decir palabras ofensivas cuando me dejaba llenar por la ira entristecían su espíritu y además podían llegar a ofender a otros. Su palabra dice: "...ustedes deben estar dispuestos a oír, pero ser lentos para hablar y para enojarse...". He ahí el por qué "no decir palabras ofensivas" se convirtió en una de mis batallas.

Todos tenemos una o más batallas personales. Unas pueden ser públicas y otras se manejen en el silencio del secreto. Puede que tu batalla sea contra el resentimiento, los celos, la soberbia ...y la lista sigue creciendo. Lo importante no es solo aceptar que tienes un problema, sino luchar contra ello, no en nuestras fuerzas, pero si en las de Dios. Antes de luchar debes confesar a Dios cuál es tu problema, entrégaselo y prepárate para iniciar una batalla.

PD: Dios te guiará pore l camino indicado para darte la victoria sobre ese pecado. Puede que él te guíe hacía personas capaces de ayudarte con tu problema o puede que solo seas tú con él en el proceso de batalla.

Terminando el día de las madres

El día de la madre ya finalizó y agradezco a Dios la oportunidad de tener a mi madre viva! ¡Qué bendición! Mi madre ha sido mi mejor amiga, mi enfermera, mi maestra, mi guía espiritual, mi chef, ... algo así como de todo un  poco de lo que hay en mi vida. Dios en su fidelidad decidió que esta mujer fuera mi madre.

Cuenta la leyenda que conocí sus entrañas y viví en su cuerpo. Me parece que pasaba embriagada con amor porque no tengo recuerdos concientes de aquellos días. Cuentan que era un ser abusivo, no tenía misericordia de mi madre, pedía comida a todas horas desde el vientre. Parece que cuando salí de ella, esa costumbre habitó en mi por unos años más. Ahh! Qué hermoso es ser un hijo, pero más hermoso es tener a esa figura materna.

Si este día no puedes compartir con tu madre por tantas razones (puede que ya no esté contigo, puede que no hables con ella, no lo sé...) , pero si tienes a una figura materna en tu vida, la cual te ha llenado del amor y cariño que solo una madre puede dar, alabo a Dios por ello. Puede que tu madre sea tu abuela, tu tía, tu amiga, tu hermana... no importa, pero, Dios te ha provisto -de alguna forma- de ese amor maternal  a través de esa persona. No pierdas la oportunidad de agradecerle a esa persona por todo el amor que te brinda.

Depender de ti

Desesperación y desesperanza.

Todo me parecía inalcanzable.

Estaba ya tan cansada que aliento

 para mi alma ya no quedaba.

Sentada esperando que arreglaras mi situación

decidí dormir y descansar en ti.

Desperté con una nueva sonrisa

Desperté con espíritu de alegría

No era que había algo diferente en mi situación

sino algo extrañamente raro en mi corazón.

Sabía que habías hecho de las tuyas

para fortalecerme aquella noche y

Cuando ya no quedaba nada

solo me quedaba la fe

solo me quedaba depender de ti

Fue así como me embarcaste en

esta aventura que, en algún momento, tendrá su fin.

En esta aventura estoy aprendiendo a depender de ti

y no me arrepiento de haberme aferrado

a lo único que me quedaba: Tú. 

En nada me has fallado, en todo has estado

En nada me has dejado, en todo me has acompañado.

Terminará la tormenta, y habrá valido la pena

haberme sentado, esperar y depender plenamente de ti.

La paciencia de la fe

Sé que tal vez ya hayas leído el devocional "En pos de lo supremo" (Oswald Chamber), o tal vez no. Pero, el día de hoy no escribiré nada, solo postearé este devocional, porque parece que Dios quiere hablarte algo con esta lectura. Realmente, yo no conozco la magnitud de tu prueba, pero estoy segura que Dios si la conoce. Oro para que este devocional sea talvez un recordatorio o talvez palabra de fortaleza a tu vida.

La paciencia de la fe

"Dado que has obedecido mi mandato de perseverar",

Apocalipsis 3:10

La paciencia es más que resistencia, más que simplemente aguantar hasta el final. La vida de un cristiano está en las manos de Dios, como el arco y la flecha en las manos de un arquero. Dios está apuntando a un blanco que el cristiano no puede ver, pero como nuestro Señor estira y tensiona, de vez en cuando el creyente dice: “No puedo resistir más”. Él no nos hace caso y sigue estirando hasta que Su objetivo esté a la vista, y entonces lanza la flecha. Confíate en las manos de Dios. ¿Hay una circunstancia en tu vida para la cual necesitas paciencia, ahora mismo? Mantén tu relación con Jesucristo por medio de la paciencia que produce la fe. Declara como Job: "Aunque él me mate, en él esperaré", Job 13:15.

La fe no es una emoción débil y lastimosa, sino una confianza fuerte y energética que se fundamenta en el hecho de que Dios es amor santo. Y aunque no lo puedes ver a Él en este momento y no puedes comprender lo que está haciendo, tú lo conoces. El desastre se presenta en tu vida cuando te falta la serenidad mental que proviene de arraigarte en la verdad eterna de que Dios es amor santo. La fe es el esfuerzo supremo de tu vida y significa que tú te rindes con una absoluta confianza en Él.

Dios arriesgó todo en su Hijo Jesucristo para salvarnos y ahora quiere que arriesguemos nuestro todo con plena confianza en Él. Existen áreas de nuestra vida donde esa fe no ha obrado todavía, lugares que no han sido tocados por Dios. En la vida de Jesucristo no hubo áreas sin tocar y tampoco nosotros debemos tenerlas. Jesús oró: "Y esta es la vida eterna, que te conozcan a ti", Juan 17:3. El verdadero significado de la vida eterna es una vida que puede enfrentar todo lo que tiene que enfrentar, sin vacilaciones. Cuando asumimos esta perspectiva, la vida se convierte en un gran romance, en una gloriosa oportunidad para ver situaciones maravillosas a cada instante. Dios nos está disciplinando para llevarnos a ese punto central de poder.

Broken for a purpose- Chapter 1

So, I'm reading a new book wich is giving me strenght in these moments of trials. God is using very much this book. This what I learned about chapter 1.

God is leading into the proof because he wants to teach things that in other way I won't learn. My teacher (the holy spirit) knows God's purpose, so he will work in me rembering all my characteristics: my weakness, my failures, my fears, my family, my environment, etc. When I think about this I'm overwhelmed by the work of the Father, spirit and Son! They're very busy working so I can become to the image of Christ! This makes feel very loved. I'm sure that Jesus is working and fixing me, 'cause in his time he want to present me to his Father without any spot or wrinkle. If I think in this way about times of trials or my situation, everything can turn different. I'm not saying proof will end in this exactly moment, but if I take a correct attitude about this lesson that my Lord is trying to teach me as well, I'll get a great chance to become more like Christ and die more to myself.

Hay semanas en las que empezamos agotados por una situación que nos desgasta. Hoy solo tengo para compartir esta hermosa canción de Adisson Road. Espero que esta canción te recuerde que Dios brindará la fuerza necesaria para afrontar tu problema este día o esta semana. No te fies de tu propia sabiduría para resolver tu situación, solo recuerda confiar en él.
